Dr. Thierry is wonderful, very ethical and professional. From the first consultation he showed real interest in my little girl's problems. He listened to our concerns and opinions and was accurate in the indicated treatment. I highly recommend him.
Dr Kanfer is very knowledgeable, kind, considerate and reliable. He has been vital in treating my 15 yr old daughter with extreme anxiety and ADHD issues. I used to be someone who practically scoffed at this type of diagnosis as a cop-out in many cases- until my own child was suffering and struggling. Her grades were abysmal and she was hiding bottles of alcohol in her room. Dr. Thierry always took the time to address all questions and concerns we had. We never felt rushed or that he had not heard us. He was very supportive for both our child and us.
He is wonderful! He makes us feel comfortable and really takes the time to listen.
I took my son to see Dr. Thierry to get a psych assess. He has had numerous psychologist evaluate him but we had a court order for an official diagnosis. Dr. T was terrible. He spoke with us for 20 minutes, my son for 10, and that was it. I came back in the room and he didn't even write a diagnosis until I asked for it and even then he asked me why I needed it. He took 2 phone calls during the end of our meeting and cookie cuttered the diag. and wrote a presc. I was so upset.
This psychiatrist had me on medication that caused me stiffness for months. Then he was angry that the X Ray center said I have to get off the medication. A year later, put me on medication that caused stiffness again and when I complained, he increased it.
