UPDATE: My insurance (Delta Dental USA) sent me a check for the amount La Costa Dentistry overcharged me. I had to initiate a greivance, through my insurance, against the provider for this to happen. Make sure you look at your insurance records to see what your co-pay is supposed to be and make sure the office does not charge you more than that. My insurance told me the office engaged in "balance billing" which is not allowed. I think the office was hoping I didn't notice I was overcharged. I am downgrading my review to 1 st... read more
Excellent relaxing dental care I love La Costa Dentistry, so happy to have found this place!!
Good service
The dental work received, dentists and dental assistants were all wonderful. However, I was charged more than double for a co-pay and my insurance company says this office owes me a refund for the overpayment. Despite phone calls and emails, the office has ignored my request. I had to file a formal greivance through my insurance to escalate the issue. Two stars because there is active avoidance on the part of the office staff (I've called multiple times and the receptionist is dismissive and says the issue will be addressed)... read more
