Dr Akkina is awesome and honest!
Have nothing but issues with this office and can never get my meds or services since they do not respond to emails from insurance companies or messages left by me.. worst experience of doctor patient interaction
I love this doctor but his staff falls way short. I waited over two months for a prior authorization for my inhaler. This was ridiculous. I had to call the insurance company myself and wait on hold for them to call the doctors office in order to get my medication approved. No one at the office had even attempted to get my meds. I suffered needlessly for two months barely able to breathe. Dr Akkina deserves better staff.
Went in for a sleep study and they called me after the tests that they didnt receive the results but cancelled my follow up. Left 2 messages since then with no response. Still have a bill 3 months later for over $1,000 to pay. Glad I wasnt critical care and now no one wants to take responsibility for the mix up but they expect the bill paid.
