Doctor Zafar performed a laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) on me in October 2024 at St Luke's Woodlands Hospital. From meeting him for pre-op to our post-op visit, he was 100% upfront with clear and easy to understand info and care to both me and my wife. He is obviously a highly-skilled surgeon, but he also connects in a personal way with important info that put us at ease, especially since it was my first surgery. Great Dr really takes care of his patients treats you like family, he went above and beyond for my care
I had my surgery 08/02/2023 and when I tell you Dr.Zafar is the best surgeon, yes indeed he tells you the truth on everything you wants to know. Today is my first post-op day I’m sore but it’s tolerable. I couldn’t have picked a better surgeon for my gallbladder. Thanks Dr.Zafar if I could give you, a million stars I would. Can’t wait to see him on the 17 for an update I ate any and everything with no problems. He was very informative and very truthful. I would recommend him any day to anyone no bad review here only honesty…
After my not so good run in with another surgeon 4 years ago, Dr.Zafar was a breath of fresh air. He was very informative and heard every concern I had. He knew I was extremely nervous and made sure I was comfortable before even beginning the surgery. Hoping to not have to go through surgery again, but if I do I know who I’m calling!
