Would give zero if I could - Dr Chhitwal reviewed my doctor's request for an MRi and declined based on the bureaucratic fact that six weeks without improvement had not elapsed. No interview or direct contact with me, very unprofessional.
She has zero bedside mannor! She constantly told me I needed to loose weight. I missed an appointment and tried to reschedule , but usually found that she would be out of the country for extended periods of time (India) and getting into see her was difficult. Then when I did I was made to feel worthless. When I did see her she would not address the issue of the PAIN I was having and discomfort. I have been treated by Dr. Chhitwal now for nearly 5 years. Upon my diagnosis by my General Practitioner I tried to get an appointment with a Rheumatologist, the earliest available was 6 to 9 months later. When I contacted Dr. Chhitwal's office and explained my urgent need to be seen (due to scheduled surgery), they gave me an appointment 4 days later. Care under Dr. Chhitwal has been professional, caring and concerned about improving my health.
This doctor is HORRIBLE!! No bedside manner, doesn’t care, rushes you, doesn’t care to take the time to listen to you. Don’t waste your time!!!!!!
