I always get nervous for these GYN appointments. Especially having anxiety disorder. However Dr. Pawl is so down to earth and just a pleasure to deal with that it was my first time feeling comfortable with my visit. Not only her great attitude but her experience and expertise in her field. She will get to the root of the problem and treat as needed.
I am a 55 year old woman who had concerns regarding menopause. Dr Pawl was so focused and clear in her exam and explanations of what was happening for me hormonally. She even drew a diagram to explain the hormonal changes! She is an excellent provider and I would recommend her highly.
Dr. Pawl - knowledgable, compassionate! Unfortunately she's so busy -- no chance of explanations/ discussion, getting appointment is HARD. Waited 1+ hour to see her for test results, had to leave finally. i thought she might have called to discuss, or get me in soon to get my results, but NOTHING. One star is for her staff -- BEYOND rude, indifferent, insensitive, (like when they failed to call in an important prescription, acted as if i was bothering them by calling). I'm finding a new doc
She is an excellent diagnostician - and she has HEART! What else is there to say.
I saw Dr. Pawl as a backup because my dr was not in and no one called me to inform me because of course, they had the wrong info. She was kind enough to fit me in when she heard what happened and all I can say is I LOVE HER. GREAT CONVERSATION, CARING, KIND, A TRUE MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. She has been my doctor ever since.
After my first visit to Dr. Pawl, I will be recommending her to everyone that I know. She was extremely informative, thorough in her exam, took time to talk and listen to my history and ailments, showed pictures from med books, drew diagrams. Just an amazing and wonderful professional, caring and knowledgeable doctor. Great overall experience after many bad ones over the past 40 years. I consider myself truly lucky to have been referred to her by my friend. Definitely a 10!
Decided to visit Dr. Pawl for the first time today after reading many great reviews online. She greeted me with a big smile and made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Pawl gives a very thorough exam and really listens to your concerns and questions. She is such a caring and kind doctors. Wish all doctors were like her!
Dr. Pawl was my OB/GYN for more than 25 years, prior to my relocating from the NY/Westchester area to So. Florida. She is the ONLY doctor I would ever book 6 months in advance for, wait patiently (if she was detained) but KNOW she would be thorough in her exam, LISTEN-HEAR-and ADDRESS EVERY word I said, and question at hand. I give Dr. Pawl a 10!
I have been a patient for 24 years. She is the best gynecologist, very thorough, helpful, and caring. I highly recommend her.
