I only had good experiences with Dr. Elliott and staff. She is very personable and reassuring about my condition. I have to pay out of pocket, but it's worth the peace of mind I receive. Would I rather spend this money on a vacation and not have my health.
After my initial mammo, Dr. Elliott did a sonogram. I asked her what else it could be if it wasn't cancer and she said, "Oh, it's definitely cancer." I have been a patient of Dr. Elliot's for many years and have never failed to be impressed by her skills as a surgeon and the courtesy and professionalism of her staff. I have had two surgeries performed by Dr. Elliot, the last was a lumpectomy for breast cancer. There are few doctors more caring--she takes the time to discuss any issues or concerns you may have. This center fails to go by their own protocols. When finally pressed about a palpable lump they got somewhat angry, as they were going to let the patient go on her merry way because their scans didn't show anything. One typical biopsy later and we had a stage 1 cancer to remove (their proposed biopsy couldn't even be performed according to the second surgeon as the was nothing to be seen in a scan to guide them) 6 months and 3 trips wasted.
