Lied in my record, and said I abused pain medication, when I was taking it for endometriosis I’d had since age 18, polycystic kidney disease, pelvic dysfunction during my 3rd pregnancy, 4 herniated discs, and a tubal I’d just had. Went to see Dr Lovelace twice. An initial visit and for a Pap smear. I had never had a pap before so I didn’t realize how abnormal my experience was. Turns out it’s because my cervix is titled, which I was NOT TOLD and did not find out until a different Dr tried to place an IUD. I also asked Dr Lovelace about an ultrasound because of my previous PCOS diagnoses, unpredictable periods, pain in my pelvis, and family history of uterine issues. She told me it was unnecessary.
