Never go here. You're better off seeking care in a war torn country's field triage. I thought this would have been a professional establishment because it's located on 14th Street in Manhattan but to my dismay it wasn't. Coupet's office is still run like we're in the pandemic with strict distancing rules and cramped plexiglass barriers up between seating. Dr Coupet is a very good doctor who listens carefully to her patients, not treating them like clients.
I recently had to switch doctors and made an appointment with Dr. Coupet. Unfortunately, she arrived 30 minutes late. After one patient was seen, I waited for an additional hour and 15 minutes before deciding to leave. Sadly, this experience made it clear that Dr. Coupet isn't the right fit for me
Everyone from the front desk staff, bloodwork nurse, to the doctor was pleasant and patient. The doctor took the time to listen and then explain the process and treatment in detail. I went for my first annual and felt cared. I am happy to have a great primary care in a new city.
I had been going to Dr. Coupet for a routine physicals and started to see bruising on my legs. I addressed my concerns with Dr. Coupet and she was very dismissive and told me I must have bump my leg somewhere. I decided it was best to seek out a different doctor for a second opinion. My new doctor reached out to other doctors and did research to find out what was causing the bruising. Come to find out the bruising was due to the medication I was taking.
