Dr saw everything as black or white. Treated with disrespect at a very vulnerable time in our family’s life. So thankful to have found Dr Yogesh Shukla who had so much compassion with my teenage daughter.
I was a patron of Dr. Farooq for years. For years she never told me why I was taking the meds I was. For years she forgot to send prescriptions that I needed to function. For years she sent in the wrong prescription, the wrong dosage, the wrong pill entirely. She made me take Rexulti which is over a grand to obtain and I couldn't afford it but she wouldn't give me any other options until covid hit and she couldn't supply me samples any longer. I never felt like a patient. I felt like a number. A pay check. I was never able t... read more
Thorough???? inpatient and in her office, Dr Farooq takes the time to listen, she reviews my past history, any recent history, necessary or relevant for the returned appt. She Asks the necessary questions regarding my medication response to my medications, as well as, how I feel over all, I never feel rushed. She always asks is there is any other issues, what I'd like to work on and make suggestions, she's been my dr. for many years, she got me through a difficult time, years passed, I came back.
Dr. Farooq ask very little about my history before prescribing me medication. She never exactly gave me a diagnosis or explained very much about the medication. I don't think this facility is in the business of helping you improve your life as much as just churning out prescriptions.
Worst experience ever. After RXing meds which resulted in multiple seizures, she remained un-effected & indifferent. It is difficult enough to seek therapy to begin with let alone be matched with a dr who shrugs off your concerns as if you weren't even worthy of being alive. Forget telling her about your feelings or concerns as her response is rolling her eyes & interrupting you. Refused to treat what initially brought me to office&instead insisted I continue the meds that gave me seizures.
Took my daughters for grief counseling after being treated/tested for possible ADD. We LOVE her.
Melinda is very helpful and Dr Farooq has been a lifesaver. Highly recommend.
