From the moment I met Dr Gupta, I knew I would be in the best hands I could possibly be in. He was compassionate and caring as was his team. I’m a 67 female with 2 prior lumbar fusions years ago. I developed scoliosis after a spinal cord stroke. My spine was getting worse & I realized if I didn’t correct it, I would soon be crippled. My back dr said my condition was too severe for him to operate & he referred me to 5 drs across the country. Doctor Gupta changed my health for the rest of my life. I had never ending back pain from the Military, a car accident, and a failed back surgery at another hospital. These problems all pointed my wife to find the best hospital care within 5 hours of our home. Wash U in St Louis was the right place and with a bit of pure luck I ended up with one of the best spine surgeons in the US. Good thing as I needed my spine fused all the way up to my shoulders.
