I Was a patient of Dr Arean in 2012 I had a very bad experience because I have thyroid problems so he sent me to get a radiation pill wish at that time I didn't even knew what was that for I asked him what is this medication for he did told me that it was to reduce the hormones that my gland was producing a lot of hormones after the radiation treatment I was going to be better and that I was going to start taking levothyroxine for a few months he was never clear to tell me that I was going to be taking levothyroxine all my l... read more
I was referred to him by a NP after my blood tests for my thyroid were off and she believed I may have Cushing's Syndrome. When he asked why I was there and I relayed the blood tests the NP did and what she said about it and that she thought I might need an ultrasound of my thyroid HE said he doesn't look at tests ordered by someone else and then he said I should stop eating garbage and laying around on my fat a$$ all day. I have been under Dr. Arian's care for a number of years and all i can say is that he is top knotch doctor. Very profesional and knows what he is talki ng about.
Mom has gone without medicine because he kept rescheduling and when she asked for a refill he said he had to see her before he could refill it. 2 months without insulin is malpractice!
I was disappointed during and after my visit. He talked at me. My first visit in February was very good . My second visit was horrible.after 8 months of during what he said I was excited to report the good and bad changes . He was not interested in my concerns. One issue was my hair had been falling out so he stopped my thyroid meds in February now in September hair is not falling out but growing back in front frizzy wiry and dry and he said go to a hair dresser.
