Dr.Patel is a Horrible provider!! He does not care about the patients. He looks at them as numbers! I called his office for 2 weeks straight to get seizure meds for my mom and her declined to refill it and now she is currently in the ER for what??!! A SEIZURE! He refused because she missed an appt that they didn’t notify me about even though I have paperwork that tells them to let me know! His nurse Ursula is rude and antagonizing! He always listens and doesn’t make me feel like an old complaining lady and gives such good advice
Complete lack of empathy. Was on crutches at the time and he tried rushing me like cattle to the back without explaining my procedure then tried to get an attitude with me saying I was late when majority was spent filling out paperwork in his own office. He got the tell off from me as he has truly been the worst out of anyone I have encountered during my medical journey. He talks over you, doesn't listen to critical information and is very dismissive of your lived experience. I've given him 4 appointments now to show the side of him that these comments talk about and I have yet to see it, to the point where I doubt their validity. I have so many amazing specialists, but this is only the second Doctor I've met that embodies the "arrogant and rude Doctor" trope. It's such a shame because their office is so close to my home, I really wanted to make this work.
I saw him in sulfolk he set and listened to everything I had going on. He wasted no time getting testing done.
