Dr. Tolston said it was impossible for me to have a certain diagnoses that I came in to talk about the possibility of having based on my prolonged physical symptoms, simply because I had graduated high school… i genuinely have no idea why that was even a factor or part of the conversation. She wouldn’t elaborate why that was important or a diagnostic indicator for a disease. Dr. Tolston is 100% top notch 5 stars is an understatement. She explained clearly everything in my labs, giving examples and recommendation on how to improve my health. When in crisis she responded quickly with life saving directions. I can't recommend her highly enough. If she still practicedwithin 100 miles of where I live she would still be my main Dr.
She is extremely rude and doesn't listen when you tell her things. She questioned and didn't believe any diagnosis from other drs or specialists in their field and fat shamed me. She threatened to send me to the hospital if I didn't get my iron levels up and said I was making up how iron pills make me sick. Then she made to tell me how much weight I had gained before I left. But not in a nice concerned way just in a rude shaming way.
Impossible to reach their office. Message says mailbox is full and from the sounds of other reviews it has been for months. Hard to trust an office that refuses to answer their phone. Not even sure if they are still a business or not.

Dr. Tolston is a wonderful doctor. She takes time to get to know the needs of her patients and cares about the well-being of me and my family. I have referred several of my family members to her practice and they are now also satisfied patients.
She is a great doctor. I have seen her years . Several of my family members have seen her also and love her.
This is the WORST doctor ever. She is incredibly rude and unprofessional. She raised her voice at her nurses and treated turn with such disrespect. I left Charles Drew because of this woman. I was scared to death of her. She also misdiagnosed me and had me on anunnecessary, incorrect prescription for TWO years. She should be banned from practicing. Stay away from this ABUSIVE person. I'm still in shock regarding her behavior.
