This guy acted completely incompetent in my interactions with him. After I mentioned that I was interested in a second opinion he refused to repeat or even write down what diagnosis or recommendation he made. After speaking with other health care providers and patients that have worked with him I have found he has a reputation of misunderstanding patients and making the same recommendations regardless of the problem at hand.
Dr. Shoiab did a great job aggressively treating our son's psych needs (he was dangerously close to being kicked out of preschool). If you are in an emergency situation and are ready for immediate help (as we were), he will get the meds on board, see what works and what doesn't and get it done!
