Dr. Al has been the best doctor I’ve ever had. He is not only knowledgeable but compassionate and caring. The office staff was very helpful and organized throughout my whole process.
I had two surgeries with Dr. Al. The one in 2020 was a S1, L5, L4 right side fusion. He put a bar and a screw in each area of my spine location. This was done 5 years ago when I was 70. I play golf now 3 times a week! Very successful surgery and outcome.The second surgery, 2025, was done 3 weeks ago on my left side, SI joint fusion. I left the hospital with zero pain. After seeing an Ochsner Neurosurgeon and his useless PA for 8 years and being told 'It is not bad enough yet,' I had to see someone different as I was losing movement of my arms with deep pain in my shoulders. I was living my life in a Lazy Boy! A friend had surgery with Dr. Al and it was a big success so I made an appointment with Dr. Al and he did surgery within a week. He is a great surgeon - he performed cervical neck surgery on me and all my issues have resolved as a result. He really listens to your concerns and spends the time to answer your questions.
Dr. Al is wonderful. He initially diagnosed the problem spot on. I appreciate him taking the time he did to not only locate the problem, but have definitive answers on my options. He is caring and the back injections I have received have been carefully done with minimum pain. I would recommend Dr. Al to everyone.
Wonderful doctor and human being. Never met a doctor who listened more tentatively and diligently in my life! He analyzed my case, developed a treatment plan, and ended up doing surgery on me, which went great! Resolved all my neck issues. I got my life back! We meed more people like him for sure.
