Office staff is horrible. Never answers the phone and will not call back. Fails to follow through sending paperwork. Doctor is ok but he has never spent more than 5 minutes with me. Sad there are no other sleep doctors in area but 1 who is not taking new patients. Guess people will have to drive to Phoenix.
Dr, El- Harakeh is an excellent pulmonologist. He is highly professional and provides his patients with complete information and a very high level of care. His staff is very good, highly professional. It is a very busy office (Patients should not expect a leisurely social experience)
My husband didn’t want me to write a review, because he thinks very highly of Dr. El-Harakeh and has gone to him for years and when he actually can get in to see him, it’s great. But he can’t see him any longer because our insurance will not cover that Dr any more…the second insurance company that won’t. We actually cancelled the first insurance company to find one that would cover El-Harakeh visits and care, because my husband likes El-Harakeh that much, and now the new insurance won’t. No longer takes veterans. Dr nor the office staff does notify patient or refer the patient to another Dr. He just drops them without notification. We went to his office to get our paperwork and test results back and the office in PV was wide open. No staff or Dr around. We could if walked off with computers and files if we wanted to. Doesn’t seem to care if his patients are taken care of.
Office staff was terrible. I waited 2 months to get an appointment just to pick up my cpap for home study. I took the hour off from work and I sat there for 20 minutes and then asked the front desk when I would be.seen and she said the person I was suppose to see was Josh and he went to lunch. I am furious. I needed to get back to work....this is unprofessional and disrespectful of their patients.
