Dr. Afzal is an excellent and thorough physician. Unfortunately, the repeated issues with his front desk staff has created a barrier for me to continue as a patient. From my very first visit, a receptionist in his office spoke to me rudely and dismissively when I asked a simple question. I almost never returned, but because Dr. Afzal came highly recommended by another medical professional, I gave the office another chance. I absolutely love Dr.Afzal he is a very passionate doctor and patient he listen to you, and I am so glad he's my doctor he is very knowledgeable I'm not the best patient, and he still see me, and once I got to know the office help they are great to deal with too.
The front desk person is very rude. She goes back and forth with patients. All staff there just don’t care, they sit and just gossip. If you need something urgently done, it will never get done. I learnt my lesson, and regret ever going to them. Please avoid them at all cost!
Dr. Afzal is very thorough and attentive. After 6 years of trying to get my hand fixed surgically, he made it happen in just a few short months. He cares about his patients and I believe he is one of the better doctors in Cecil County these days. I have nothing negative to report, only positives. He will get you fixed right up if you give him a chance. His assistants and receptionist are also amazing and care about every patient.
