Compared to the last neurologist I was seeing at the time, he was the BEST! Spent time with me, listened, and helped me find answers. Very caring. I appreciate his help and solutions. A total game changer seeing him compared to the fool I was seeing prior.

Avoid at all costs. We went to an in-network hospital, which inexplicably sent this doctor for a neurology consult, even though he was out of network. He invoiced us for $6200 for two very brief hospital visits in a single day. Did not deliver any value in these consults, no tests run, and tried to justify clear price gouging because of ‘the time needed to prep for these visits’. Absolutely ridiculous... and not at all surprised to see an abundance of one-star reviews from other patients.

I would avoid this office at all cost. Dr. Elkotb is ok once you finally get in to see him but provided very poor care. You will wait 1-2 hours in the waiting room. The office staff often does not answer the phone, and will NEVER call you back. We waited 5 weeks to get results of testing ordered by Dr Elkotb despite calling many times asking for a call back. When we finally did get in to see him we were told the results were abnormal with a life changing diagnosis that requires medication.

Very slow with responding to pharmacy requests for refills. Out of 3 refills I have been left without medication for a week+ on at least 2 occasions, because his office staff refuse to respond to fax or e-mail, and they won't answer their phones.

Dr. Elkotb has been so helpful and explained everything in detail. I am so glad I found this office! He has put my fears to rest about my diagnosis and I trust him. Dr. Elkotb is amazing!

Caring and considerate even though he is clearly extremely busy. Took the time to show care and concern with my mother - which is not a standard characteristic of many neurologists in my experience. They are usually harried and pretty dry. Dr. Elkotb was kind and showed genuine concern in my mom's progress and healing.

Went to dr.Elkotb for answers as towhy I was having migraines almost every day. I went to the hospital because of a migraine with stroke like symptoms and they told me that I needed scans done. I asked him what to do to prevent it and I got minimal anse=wers and a bunch of medication. Not friendly and doesnt talk much. Wouldnt recomend if you want to find out answers to your migrains.
