Gutshall was once a good practitioner. All good reviews are from 5+ years ago. However, post covid he and his staff are obviously unhappy and frustrated and it shows in their attitude and treatment of patients. After 20 years of being my doctor he suddenly cancelled an upcoming critical appointment and refused to treat me anymore. I refer anyone I know to Dr. Gutshall. He gets my sense of humor and I feel like he really listens to my concerns. He never rushes my appointment and makes me feel heard.
I will no longer have Mitchell gutshall as my PCP nor my wife, the reason is for that fact he accused my wife of drug seeking behavior for requesting a refill of a prescription from the ER, the only thing that seemed to calm her irregular heart palpitations and heart racing that sent her into panic attacks, he also referred her to a cardiologist despite the slew of cardiologist tests that were done at the ER which revealed a healthy heart and despite my wife explaining to him the theories the ER doctors had, he ignored all o... read more
