Dr. Fort performed surgery on me 04/10/19 and my post op visit was scheduled for 04/24/19. I got a call today from his office and they advised that he resigned effective immoderately. I never even got my post op visit with him.... strange.
Was by my side every step of the way
He lied to my daughter, gave her false hope...later, he told me he would not give her any more chemo, as there was no hope. She demanded that he give it, as he had promised she would live! I watched her lay and die, having given up because she needed so strongly to believe what he had told her. I wish he would have been truthful, she could have spent her last few months with her kids in Texas, but she was not given that opportunity. Greed is his only quest. 28 years ago this December Dr. Giles Fort saved my life when I had uterine cancer. Every year thereafter, until a few years ago, I had an exam with him and he and I spoke extensively about my health. Four or five years ago he turned me over to another doctor at Woman's Hospital because I am considered "cured". Dr. Fort is a kind, loving, generous man whom it has been my good fortune to have had as my doctor all those years.
