I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Koren! When I read the other negative reviews, i have to wonder if we are talking about the SAME Physician?! Based upon my YEAR as his patient, these reviews DO NOT reflect my satisfaction and respect for Dr. Koren as they are polar opposites of my experience. My last A1C was 4.7, so the proof is in the pudding !!!
I’ve waited a long time before posting this review because I was nervous, but I think people deserve to know. Dr Koren did not take me seriously throughout the few appointments I had with him. I had a serious medical issue (Brain tumor) and serious symptoms that he did not care about. He degraded me as a woman and told me to see a psychologist instead of continue seeing a doctor for my BRAIN TUMOR. He asked extremely unrelated and inappropriate questions during my appointments. I think he's a very good Dr listen to your concerns
My A1C with Dr. Koren was around 8.6. He talked down to me like I was a child, talked over me, never listened to my concerns. Told me different doses when I returned to him than what he had said previously. The staff here was so nice and I hate to leave a bad review, but my experience with him was just awful. He also tried every visit to push an insulin pump and weight loss surgery. Just 3 months later I’m with a new Endo and my A1C was a 7.2.
