Dr. Atwater is not only a great clinical psychologist, but a wonderful human being. He has been my granddaughter's therapist for well over a year and she has made excellent progress dealing with a very tragic situation. Dr. Atwater has helped my husband and myself understand our granddaughter better in order to help us work with her at home.

I had never done couples therapy before and I was SO nervous that my boyfriend would get mad and leave. However, Dr. Mike was very non-threatening and was able to get my boyfriend to open up without getting him too upset. I truly feel so grateful that my boyfriend can finally see our communication issues and also his anger issues. It has been about 1 week since our first appointment and I can already see great improvements in our communication. I definitely plan to go back.
