I’ve seen Dr Wellman a few times now, as has my cousin, and she has helped us both greatly! She has always been lovely and listens to all concerns. Very validating. She did a cervical biopsy for me as well of which I was terrified but I felt no pain. Honestly I cried so much in the lead up! It was fine. I think the negative reviews are harsh. But as we know it’s more common for people to write negative reviews over positive.

I saw dr wellman and she told me there was “nothing I can do” with an ongoing problem ive had for six years with every other doctor ive seen telling me something is wrong and I need to go higher up. I was in there for 4 minutes and her only solution was “go to a gp or hospital”. I felt shut down and not heard.

My procedure in Dr Wellman’s hands was comfortable and painless. She addressed my questions and concerns fully and I had no need to be nervous. He team also followed up for my ongoing care. I highly recommend Dr Wellman and her practice for comprehensive and respectful care.

Last year Dr Wellman told me that the pain I was experiencing wasn’t gyne related. I got out of hospital yesterday after having extensive endometriosis excised. She is part of the medical gaslighting problem. I am even more let down by the fact that this invalidation was from a woman.
