Dr. McElroy gave me a new perspective on nutrition based health care. Combining nutritional approaches with traditional medicine to arrive at a more balanced and healthy approach. Not at the expense of traditional medicine, but in coordination with traditional medicine. I am now addressing my medical needs in a more healthy and balanced manner than just the de facto prescription drug approach.

I had looked into functional medicine for several years but kept thinking I did not need to go because all my labs were normal. Whenever I get the chance I do recommend Dr. McElroy. For the first time in years since my thyroidectomy my thyroid levels are optimal thanks to her out of the box thinking. I love that she does what she can to further her knowledge and understanding of the human body and health and to not just treat the symptoms but getting to the root of an issue and she will be honest about it and not just use prescriptions to treat symptoms.
