I recently had to get stitches on the bridge of my nose, and I was lucky enough to be treated by Dr. Michael Mott, MD. From start to finish, he was absolutely fantastic. He took the time to thoroughly explain every step of the procedure — the how and why behind each part — which, as a scientist, I love to hear. His bedside manner is top-notch, and he had me laughing throughout the visit (which is no small feat when you’ve got a needle heading for your face!). Came into urgent care and the nurse told me Dr. Mott was a wealth of knowledge and he would see me soon. He far exceeded my expectations. He made me feel more comfortable than my PCP and he seemed way more educated. He explained things very well and helped me out.
I have been fortunate to see this doctor a few times at urgent care, each time we have a two-way compassionate conversation about my health, and I chose the word conversation, he truly listens, educates and makes sure you understand and feel good about your health. And I always walk away with more medical knowledge then when I arrived, the man is an ever updating encyclopedia!! He is the epitome of a physician and I will be first in line if he opens a private practice. Thank you Dr. Mott
