I visited abrazo’s ER with severe pain in my abdominal area on Thanksgiving day.I had been to urgent care and was sent to the ER to run some test that they were unable to do. This man came into my room and made a choice, instead of trying to help me he chose to lecture me about using a curse word as a modifier to express my pain when I was explaining how I felt. I brought my grandma to abrazo free standing ED after a fall and dr Hickman treated her with so much compassion and care. He was also very kind and clear in his communication regarding her plan of care and situation and ensuring her comfort. He treated her with dignity in a time where she does not feel so dignified and it is such a gift. Thank you for the compassionate care you provided to my grandma. I wish all of her providers were as wonderful as he was. Thank you for the care.
