This is the worst surgeon in Huntsville! I know 5 people who he operated on and they have issues from his work. He actually broke one persons femur during a knee replacement surgery.
I am 4 weeks past labral repair surgery and, although mobility is still limited, the experience was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting or told it was going to be. I have had ankle sprains that hurt worse. I am certainly better than I was before, despite limited range of motion for now. Dr Cantrell is incredibly calming besides providing excellent care. I had left shoulder surgery, I was amazed, he did such a good job I never had to take pain meds. After physical therapy my shoulder was back to normal like brand new. I highly recommend.
I went for a follow up appt to get results, after getting xrays and MRI previously. Dr Cantrell remarked that I had a cyst and we could wait for it to clear up on it's own. I didn't want to wait, so I asked him if he could drain the cyst today. His answer was no, that I needed to make an appointment for surgery. Surgery just to drain a cyst?
