This doctor was horrible to my mom. He treated in the hospital after the hospital found a mass in her brain. She then tried to get a follow-up appointment and they said she needed a referral from her doctor; her oncologist referred her and we went the appointment and when we got there they said she needed a referral from her PCP instead of calling to tell us that ahead of time! She then goes to her PCH and gets the referral and then gets word that he is now not going to take her insurance, which is totally ridiculous! She wa... read more
Why choose Dr. Turner. I would like to share what he did for me. My opinions were go home with Hospice with expectations of days to a week to live or surgery. He removed in the hospital a 3 1/2 " tumor from my brain, my brain stem had moved 12mm due to the size of the tumor. My expectations after surgery were to be able to walk, talk, and move my fingers and thumbs. I am a drummer and hand movements were of the upmost important to me. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Michael Turner’s office at Comprehensive Neurosurgery PLLC in Lewisville, Texas. Unfortunately, my experience showed a complete lack of organization, respect for patients’ time, and compassion for people who are dealing with pain. Dr. Turner saw my mom in the hospital. We were dealing with a brain bleed which was a scary situation. This doctor has the worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen. He spent two minutes saying what he wanted and turned to leave. So many negative reviews about him. Not sure how he stays in practice. Unfortunately when in the hospital you don’t have a choice of who’s on call for certain specialties that see you but thank god for the wonderful neurosurgeons out there to chose from once out of hospital.
