My primary referred me to Dr Smith for severe arthritis pain with rheumatic symptomology. Dr smith test and said I did not have rheumatoid arthritis and sent me on my way.. as pain and symptoms continued and worsened over several months I was referred to Dr Smith again. His reaction to my visit was literally “I don’t know why you’re here (again) I already told you there’s nothing I can do”. Yes, this really happened. Dr. Smith is a wonderful doctor he has great bedside manner, he is very gentle. He truly cares about his patients. I am blessed to have a wonderful team of doctors.
Dr Smith is a nice man but he is not skilled with patients who have the curse of autoimmune disorders. He does not know or understand a patients needs and emotional challenges, especially women. He treated me like a child who had a boo-boo. Not o.k.! Additionally, the office staff in at least two of his office locations are a mess. On two separate occasions, they scheduled me for one location but told me it was a different location when I got there. And they weren't really apologetic or nice about it - they denied their mist... read more
