As much as I have liked Dr. Slater in the past, every interaction drives me further away from wanting to remain a patient. He has claimed on other reviews that had the person talked to him, things may have been resolved. I tried talking to him yesterday (I care for my aging mother), but he decided to yell at me. So, i have been going to Dr. Slater since 2019, he has the best sense of humor ever! I was really sick in The early month of March 2020 and at that time COVID had come out and no one really knew what to do. I have Chronic Asthama, and I was coughing uncontrollably and felt really weak for days. My husband told me to call Dr. Slater to have him call the hospital so that I could go because that was the only way They would accept people to the hospitals because of Covid (that was March 18, 2020). Great doctor very knowledgeable about any and everything
Dr Slater and his entire staff is very caring and they listen. Front desk is very accommodating with scheduling appointments and they call you back when they say they will. Often it’s hard to explain why you’re there (at the dr’s appt) but he gets it. I admit that at first I didn’t get his humor and found it odd but I find myself chuckling leaving the office on a happier note. If you’re looking for a primary doctor with a supportive team, meet Dr Slater.
