Recent inpatient stay for serious surgery. Room crowded and loud, nurses overworked and inattentive, had to request medication hours after due, unemptied urine collector from roommate left in bathroom consistently and assistive device for me not in place. When collector finally removed, only rinsed and left in sink - very unsanitary. Food bland and unappealing. Not impressed and not conducive to recovery. I was dx with breast cancer in April 2007 here. I had several surgeries, chemotherapy & radiation as well as way too many follow up visits. ALL of my doctors and nurses were wonderful. I had a second opinion at Dana Farber and they agreed with my dx and treatment plan. There was no need for me to drive to Boston for treatment. Dr McKee is the best!
Love the nurses and doctors! Lots of new construction!
