I guess Dr Scannon has gone corporate! As the result of a 5 minute visit which no result or medical benefit was achieved, I had my insurance info hacked and I'm going through hell trying to straighten that out. To add insult to injury, I received a bill over and above what both insurances paid. I have never received a bill over and above the amount that insurance covers. I don’t typically write reviews, but this experience warrants one. I have never felt so dismissed by a physician and his staff. I drove two hours round-trip to see Dr. Scannon because he was supposed to be “the best.” I arrived hopeful that my long-standing battle with seborrheic dermatitis would finally be addressed properly. I am not sure if I just got him on a bad day. Considering the other reviews on here, I guess I am in the minority. I waited a very long time to get in with Dr. scannon. I came to him because I was told he was kind of an expert in psoriasis/psoriatic Arthritis skin conditions. When he came in the room he started questioning me but kept cutting me off each time I would begin to answer him and he was speaking to me as if I was a child who was not understanding him. Dr. Scannon is awesome. He’s always really polite and really kind. My dad has gotten skin cancer removed multiple times here and it’s always healed amazingly. Some of the concerns I have about my skin as a younger woman might be considered less important than issues like that, but I was never treated like my problems were silly or unimportant, and that means a lot to me. The staff is also really great!
