If it were an option I wouldn’t give 1 star. Dr. Macadams himself I liked. He’s recommended further testing and shows he cares. However, in 3 days it’ll be 1 month since my office visit and May 20 was 1st time orders for my tests were submitted. The request was denied according denial letters from my insurance they need more information. The office manager, his wife, assured me a peer to peer with insurance would be Tuesday upon returning from Memorial Day. I’ve been calling to get a new insulin pump for a week. Every time I call, the front desk tells me that the nurse is backed up. This morning, I had an emergent event due to a pump malfunction that could have been prevented when I told them about the issue the first time.his office suggested the switch from Tandem to Medtronic and I’ve regretted it since day 1. Amazing staff. Very kind and helpful. Office is basic, but the dr is amazing. He spends time actually listening and helps with symptoms and issues. I truly love this place.
When you call to get a refill of your medicine and they still haven't filled it in over 2 weeks.. the medicine that you need to live and not have 400 level blood sugars... and having the office manager talk shit about the nurses and other patients loud enough to hear from the waiting room... WOULD NOT RECOMMEND... plus they must be receiving tick backs don't even my to ask to witch diabetic pumps!!!
