Ive been seeing Dr. Nejat for a long time. He was great in the beginning. Now, his ego grew and he just has too many patients. Quantity not quality is his forte now. I went to him about eye pain for years and says he doesn't know why i have eye pain! Well, if you don't know why i have eye pain, should i go to a gyn? He's not as good anymore. I think he just wants to rack up the big bucks with cataract surgeries. aslo, i think he botches them so you keep going back to him for other problems that he can't fix anyway. He used ... read more
terrible. my eyes are worse after cataract surgery. pain that wont stop n one eye and that eye was clearer before the surgery. Help! Don't know what to do or where to go.
I have been seeing Dr. Nejat for about 7 years now and I could see the definite decline in his work. He has too many patients! He needs to not accept any new ones because the quality of the work has declined. Too rushed. He's just too busy. Quantity not quality is at the forefront. I recently had cataract surgery and to me it didn't go well. I have been complaining to him about eye pain for years which he never addressed. So before the surgery, my good eye, even though it had pain in it was very clear and after the surgery i... read more
I see Dr. Najat for Glaucoma which would indicate that pressure would be taken. That never happened. The girl who saw me only checked which line I could read. When the doctor came in, he never took my pressure and when I asedhim about it, he said don't I remember looking at the blue and the drops. I didn't because that never happened. When I asked him what my pressure was, he mumbled a word behind the mask which wasn't clear. Obviously if it were taken I would have been told in more than one word. And he never went over the ... read more
I was looking forward to meeting with Dr Najat for my consultation. He performed my sister's eye surgery but based on the unprofessional experience I had I would never use them. I booked this appointment a month ago. Left work early and drove in from New Jersey to walk in the office and be told “Oh your appointment was suppose to be rescheduled. I was taken off without a phone call. The front desk worker said it’s “not her problem it’s scheduling issue” and the Doctor might be able to see me in an hour and a half all present... read more
Wonderful Doctor! I have been a patient of Dr Nejat for over 5 years. Yes he is busy, but that’s because he’s a good doctor and he’s worth the wait. He listens and makes sure all my questions are answered. He did my cataract surgery last year and I am appreciative of the skill he brings to Staten Island. I asked him once why he is so busy and he answered “if I kept my office empty then I wouldn’t be able to help as many people. I’m in the business of helping as many people as I can”. Love this man. God bless you
NO...the man is rude and has no regard....just a number. Amid Covid 19, the office is well prepared....Dr. Nejat is just a doctor, just like I was treated just like a number....got to hospital at 10:00 AM and 5 hours later I was still waiting for surgery.....17th of the day....think about it....the man is just in it for the $$$....would definitely do your homework before going to Dr. Nejat. If he reads this, I am pretty sure he will know who I am....beware.
I moved to Staten Island a while back and was referred to Dr Nejat. He's extremely courteous and a person one has no problems speaking to. His smile and wonderful bedside manner put me at ease immediately. I found the staff to be very nice and look forward to my return visits.
Very professional, he puts you at ease from beginning to end .Highly recommend this guy and his staff
