I visited the emergency room last Thursday due to severe throat pain that left me unable to eat, speak, or swallow. Over-the-counter pain medication provided no relief, and I was in extreme discomfort for several days, even brought to tears. We livein a crazy world, healthcare no exception. Staff shortages, extended wait time for an appointment (if you can get one). Went to urgent care today and had the privilege to receive care, by Dr McMurtry. Simply an outstanding doctor and human being. Both my wife (retired RN) and were so impressed and touched by his care and demeanor. Providence is blessed as we are, having this doctor on your team. Thank You Providence and Dr McMurtry!!!
