My family and I love Dr. Scheiner to death!! He is so wonderful and takes his time, asking a lot of questions about our symptoms. We have been seeing him for years and as soon as I found him, we haven't bothered going to our regular family doctor. Dr. Scheiner is it now! It's so convenient you don't need an appointment, so that's nice for a super-busy Mom, like me- I just take off with lots of errands to run; I don't know what time I can be there, but I know I'll get there, so no appointment time works great for me! He is a wonderful doctor, but we are becoming a little frustrated with his hours. He is most needed after school, but closes early, and we have been there twice during "open" hours and it has been closed. Have ended up going to the Walgreen's clinic instead which is not our first choice.
We absolutely LOVE Dr. Scheiner. Our only complaint is he is for emergencies only and can't take on regular family practice patients. We HIGHLY recommend him. He's caring, very thorough and goes above and beyond. My daughter and I have both seen him. I had an eye infection that turned out to be quite serious affecting my cornea. If it weren't for his quick action, I would have lost my eye.
Having this doctor available has been a great convenience. About 90 percent of the time, when I need to see a doctor, I see him rather than my own internist. He is expensive however, so you need good insurance coverage.
My husband and I have been going to Dr. Scheiner for several years, and we can't recommend him highly enough. Though his practice is urgent care, we prefer his office over any of the primary care physicians we have seen. We never have to have an appointment, and we never wait long to see him. His office staff is friendly and courteous and the doctor treats us like friends who have come to visit! He takes his time and is very thorough. We have never felt rushed.
