Dr Shanafelt has been my husband's Primary Care Physician since March of 2000. My husband has multiple medical comorbidities, and De Shanafelt has always worked with my husband and I as a team to make treatment decisions.
I was looking for a new doctor after s short hospital stay so I made an appointment with Dr. Shanafelt as he was close to my home. After waiting a month and a half for my appointment, I got a call the week of my appointment that said I would need to reschedule. Three weeks later, I received an automated notification telling me to arrive at 11am for my appointment. Total jerk! Made fun of my weight right to my face. When I complained, he dismissed me as his patient.
This man has no business practicing medicine! He told my husband he was just getting older and was overweight! Wrong! My husband is dead now! Disgusting and useless man!
I have been seeing Dr Shanafelt for over 4 years now after several decades of not going to a doctor. He and his staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. They are very knowledgeable and answer/explain any question you may have. I highly recommend!
