I called to speak with this Dr bc he was the one in call, I’m a cancer patient and after he called me back he talked to me very irritated and seemed careless about my concerns. He then told me that my oncology is telling me wrong information, hence she’s the director, I think she knows what’s she’s talking about. It’s sad that a Dr that doesn’t know you and is filling in treats another Dr that’s very caring to his patients, this Dr talked you you with careless attitude! After my mom's surgery we could not talk to the surgeon even after repeatedly getting the nurses to page him requesting verbal update with the family after my mom's procedure. Reading his other reviews and his complete lack of concern, pious attitude and disregard of patient symptoms, I would stear very clear from this incompetent sorry excuse for a Dr.
Rensch misdiagnosed my 74 year old dad. Told him he just had pancreatitis, released him from Methodist with medication. He got worse over the course of a month. Went to Baptist and turns out he had stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I’m disgusted with his lack of time and care for humans. Avoid him at all costs if your loved one is at Methodist. Honestly, just avoid Methodist as well.
My 92 year old father was in ICU for upper GI bleeding. Dr. Rensch was the doctor on duty at Methodist Hospital. He came in, said three words and walked out. The rudest person I have ever encountered. I would never recommend him to anybody for any reason. I don’t care if he’s the best doctor, I would never go to him. I would rate him -10 stars if I could.
Very poor bed side manner. Very arrogant. Doesn’t let you talk or doesn’t want you to ask questions. And if you do get lucky to get in a question he comes back with sarcasm.
