I didn’t feel heard. I was crying in the room and it felt very impersonal. I had questions that weren’t answered, and I wish a nurse had been there when I was seen by the Dr. I didn’t understand the implications of getting a cortisone shot, and left confused, disappointed, and upset. I don’t know that a cortisone shot was wrong to do, but I definitely didn’t get to make an informed decision. Dr Coffey performed a slap surgery on my right shoulder in 2022 which was not correctly done! After 8 months of bogus oh some people heal longer than other and physical therapy appointments along with cortazon shots the mri was performed. When the results came back Dr Coffey stated everything was fine! I was still in pain so went to another specialist within 2 mins of looking at my mri he said yep your messed up and he did not perform the proper procedure that he should have. I broke my wrist and Dr Coffey did an outstanding job putting it back together again. He spoke in terms that were to the point and I understood everything. I appreciated that Dr. Coffey took time to listen to me and my concerns and was very adamant that I had all of my questions answered. Also made sure that I knew he was available at any time to answer any questions or address any concerns that I might have. I could not be happier with his treatment and surgical skills! I give him a 10 out of 5! Beyond wonderful!
Work comp injury, crush/laceration left ring finger originally stitched by Dr Muchaco, who was great. I was sent to Dr Coffey for follow up and today was my 3rd and final appt. I have to say I almost want to injure it again just to have a reason to go back and visit these people again. Just kidding, I don't want to get hurt again BUT I really want to praise this Doc and his staff. They were friendly and caring and I feel they took excellent care of me.
