Did not listen to my symptoms and did an unnecessary test that had nothing to do with my symptoms! He did nothing to resolve my problem, chronic constipation. He then proceeded to do a biopsy that was not necessary (everything was normal) and then charge me $250 deductible for the biopsy.! They asked me to come back and talk to the doctor/him again because I was so upset about everything and why would I do that when he didn’t even listen to me the first time! I don’t ever wanna see this doctor again.
Dr Cleary found a polyp during my colonoscopy. For that I am grateful. The reason why I’m only giving three stars is because he never communicated with me directly regarding my results. Sure I received the massive document full of medical terminology that I can probably interpret but who knows. I’m not sure if I have cancer or not. And, to make things worse, the only time he spoke with me apparently is before I came out from under anesthesia. Someone told me the that he came to my bed side. I would certainly see others in the practice. I have seen two other docs within the group who were nothing but professional and Cleary will be avoided in the future. Horrible bedside manner. Very accusatory and defensive. Not compassionate one bit and putting himself on a pedestal. See other docs within this group!!
Was convinced I had hepatitis, despite a negative test result, because I am tattooed. Ran the panel 3 more times, all negative, but refused to look at anything else. Used the phrase "your pain is not my problem".
Top notch doctor explains every thing very clearly and is very competent.
Never. Won't return calls after messages left and after he had done a procedure on me. Finally on the third attempt I reached one of his employees. She was rude and reluctantly took my message. She stated that she would give the info to the doctor, that was over a week ago and no one has contacted me.
Dr Cleary strives to understand a full history- listens first- involves you in options
Dr Cleary takes his time with you- asks relevant questions and involves you in the process. Highly recommended.
Very good doc. Great bedside and very good at explaining the procedure.
