I am extremely dissatisfied by Dr. Grimes. As an asthma patient, I rely on two inhalers: a daily maintenance inhaler and a rescue inhaler for emergency situations. Recently, I attempted to refill my daily inhaler, but it was out of stock. My pharmacy informed me that they needed to contact Dr. Grimes to obtain an alternative prescription. My appointment was scheduled for 8am this morning, and I did ALL of my pre-check in at 7am this morning. I showed up at 8:55am, and gave my name to the receptionist who said I was all set. Five minutes later, one of his nurses comes out asking me if I'm Sara, and says "the doctor wants you here 15 minutes prior to your appointment, so you have to sit here and he'll work you back into his schedule. Dr. Grimes was great. He listened well and did not jump to medication at the end of our appointment. I ‘m very healthy and practice wholistic (yes, wholistic) and workout often. He made me feel comfortable and I’m glad he’s my doctor.
Absolutely do not go here. He doesn’t care about his patients. My dad had an appointment post op for an QUINTUPLE BYPASS open heart procedure. He showed up 5 mins before and waited in the lobby for over 15 mins before they came to get him. They took him back to a room and got his weight, vitals, etc then walked out of the room. They came back in after a few minutes and told my dad that because he did not show up 15 minutes early, he would need to reschedule and be worked back into the schedule. Don't make the same mistake I made. READ reviews before choosing a Dr. Do NOT choose Michael Grimes. In the time I spent in his office never once has this man said Hello upon entering. No eye contact, horrific bed side manners. On my last visit, I had just been released from the hospital. I had so many questions I needed help with. I explained I have two kidney stones, one lodged in both kidneys. I asked for help controlling my diet regarding managing my diet with kidney stones and adding diabetes control to the equation.
