Total jerk. Find someone else!
Do not recommend... and I didn't even have an appointment with him! All I wanted was to inquiry about an assessment for a possible learning disability or language processing disorder, and he came recommended by my psych. They way he came off over the phone was aggressive and condescending and questioning if I really needed any type of assessment. He only spoke nicely when I told him never mind... Doesn't sound like a good person to work with at all...
Dr. Michael Gombatz and his practice are top notch! His practice works wonders with young kiddos & their ADHD, ADD, and educational issues. Mrs. Gombatz, a retired Educator, also works with any school needs. Nice office on the water, & easy to find. Not a parent, but an Auntie, who has seen improvement in the child. Grateful for the help. Very pleased and would recommend.
Find another doctor. I was referred to him by my son’s pediatrician just for him to deny my son care. All because he had a concussion from football 2 years ago! Now I have NO idea what that has to do with being evaluated for ADHD, but to me it sounds like he didn’t want anymore new patients. And if that’s the case, then retire! It’s poor medical practice to deny a patient treatment when they were specifically REFERRED to them for a reason.
