Dr. Ellery has changed my life and has guided me in discovering how to use therapy to work it to me. He meets everyone where they are at and creates an extremely safe space to open up, be vunerable and really share the issues that are at the root of every problem. I think in the therapy space, we as clients can sometimes except therapists & psychologists to "fix" us. But thats isn't real therapy. My son reached out for help. After the initial over phone consult (which he took while driving) he left my son feeling, put down, minimized and criticized. We were shocked so I wrote him an email informing him of the negative impact this call had. No response. Very unprofessional.

Charged me $500 to tell me he wouldn't work with me because I didn't give him enough info during the sessions (he never said this DURING the sessions, if he did I would have said more). Rediculous. I called the registrar at Manitoba Psych and he said I should complain, because Dr. Ellery has a known ego problem and needs to be confronted by his peers. I didn't end up doing this because of my mental state at the time but i wish I had! Oh yeah, and he refused to give me any recommendations, at all, of who else to seek treatmen... read more

Dr Ellery has been helping me over the last few years overcome emotional difficulties. I found the DBT skills group to be extremely helpful and I still continue to see Dr Ellery to practice these skills to cope with various life stressors. Thank you Dr Ellery for your time and help.

Very slow in providing service, never return calls or emails, whats up with that, they are in the service industry? they could care less it seems...
