This is not a good doctor to see if you have hypermobility. This Doctor will push you to do things to your body to prove that you have hypermobility EDS that will harm you and then will tell you that you don't have it and diagnose you with double jointed. Get another opinion. Get a different doctor. This One isn't For anyone.
I saw Dr. Duffin a couple months ago and refuse to go back. He's inconsiderate, rude, and treated me like I'm stupid. He asked inappropriate questions in regards to my gender identity, dismissed my pain because I'm young, and refused to prescribe medication to me because of my history of depression, citing that "he doesn't want to be liable for me committing suicide."
