I was referred to Dr Michael Winkelpleck by my PCP for a serious problem with my lower back. He was very professional, discussed my options thoroughly and answered my questions in-depth. He recommended treatment from the Pain Clinic over surgery which has given me much relief. His staff are helpful, polite and easy to contact. I highly recommend Dr Michael Winkelpleck.

Went to see him for possible surgery and he told me to refer back to my old surgeon who officially just backed out of doing surgery. I stated salar wasn't going to do surgery on me that he was backing out and needed medical care in which he denied me. So I don't think he cares.

So Blue Cross Blue Shield referred him to me through the mobile app. It was a complete huge waste of time. I got a surgeon that's playing games with me prolong in my back surgery. I come to him to seek help and he tells me to go back to the surgeon who's playing games with me, who won't operate on me. Didn't even ask why I was coming to see him. Doesn't seem like he cares anything about his patients. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! he refused someone who is in need of medical help. So I will make sure bcbs gets a review on him as well.... read more
