I can not make enough positive comments about my experience with Dr. Freeland. Every time I entrust my care to a new doctor, I am always concerned about how the interaction will proceed. There are many doctors who are skilled in their field but not so much in their interpersonal skills. Dr. Freeland is a talented surgeon & a brilliant and caring doctor. I am recovering from my second big surgery with him, and I am grateful to have found him (Via Dr. Giday, another excellent Dr!) Dr. Freeland has a very attentive bedside manner and a fuss-free approach to medicine, as the other reviewers have stated. I never feel rushed, and I appreciate being able to get in to see him when and if I need to. He’s gone above and beyond on many occasions to make sure I understood/felt comfortable/got the care I needed.

Dr. Michael Freeland is one of the best surgeons throughout Central Florida. Took care of my husband during his colon, liver and pelvis surgery as a result of cancer and today 6 years later my husband is still alive and doing well. He has very good bedside manners and cares for his patients deeply. There is none like him. He is a beautiful soul.
Dr. Freeland did an awesome job! No fuss...no drama. He knew what he was doing and did it well. VERY WELL. Aftercare was great. Highly recommend him for his expertise.
