I had a colonoscopy a couple of days ago with Dr Valente. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated. When he came first to ask questions about my past experience, he kept looking towards the patient in the next bed as he was asking me questions and typing on his computer. Dr. Valente is phenomenal! I was blessed to have been guided to him since he saved my life. After doing a biopsy on my stomach area he determined that I had a rare disease, LAMN (a cancer of the appendix). He was confident that he could do a HIPEC surgery and cure me. The confidence reassured me, along with the fact, I was told that he was one of only about 130 doctors in this country that performs the surgery. Dr Valente saved my life, after a colostomy reversal at Riverside Hospital in Columbus ohio, I ended up on life support and a feeding tube. I had a fistula that developed. After 7 months with my stomach left wide open, they needed my incision to go from 12 inches to 7 inches to close me up. The surgeon at Riverside referred us to Dr Valente, im forever greatful to him for saving my life, I just love him. Love his bedside manner and his humor.

It’s New Year’s Eve. I’m alive and my husband is not. He was diagnosed with colon cancer in November of 2022. He did 6 months of chemo and wanted a second opinion on whether surgery and the hipec procedure would help him. He saw Dr. Valente in April 23, Dr Valente thought it would “make perfect sense “ to have the surgery. We trusted Dr. Valente and my husband put his faith in him.
