I've been a patient of Dr. Sylva for most of my adult life excluding military years and he has always been an excellent primary care doctor. His staff is always helpful and friendly and they are typically very accomodating of last minute appointments when you are sick.
Doctors office does not want new patients. Had my wife deliver the new patient paper work a few days before my appointment and the office was closed. Their hours of operations said they close at 5 pm on fridays which is not true. They apparently close at 12 pm but I do not see that information anywhere. Just got done arguing with the front desk receptionist who was very rude and cancelled my appointment that I planned a month ahead of time.
Excellent doctor's office. Fantastic staff, especially Miss Vickie - she is wonderful!!
I've been a patient of Dr. Sylva's for many years. There was a few years break when he wasn't my primary care only because of an insurance issue with the insurance company. The minute our insurance changed, I went right back to him. I have found him to be extremely professional and competent, while being caring, compassionate, funny, and supportive.
