I was one of Dr. Alkhatib's first patients when he opened his independent practice about five years ago. At that point, it was fairly easy to get an appointment and Dr. Alkhatib was always the one who saw me, even though he had to take calls about other patients in our sessions. He's very knowledgeable about bipolar disorder and treatment for it. He seemed careful when prescribing medication.
